CONTENTS FOR THE EXAM OF NATURAL. UNIT 1.

Os recuerdo que este viernes, día 26 de Octubre, tendrá lugar el examen de la primera unidad de Natural.

Los alumnos/as han tenido hoy el repaso del tema y han marcado aquellas partes importantes a considerar para el estudio del mismo.

El miércoles revisaré las libretas para evaluar que estén todos los ejercicios del tema.

- KINGDOMS: Characteristics of each Kingdom.

- ANIMAL KINGDOM:

• Invertebrates: classification and characteristics of each group.
• Vertebrates: three functions: 1. respiration (lungs or gills)  2. Nutrition (herbivore, carnivore, omnivore)  3. Reproduction (viviparous or oviparous)
• The Food Chain = producer (plant) - Consumer (hervivore, carnivore) - Decomposer (Fungi and bacteria). Function of everyone in the food chain.       

- PLANT KINGDOM: 

• Reproduction: Sexual and Asexual. (Explain each process).
• The importance of Photosynthesis (What is photosynthesis?).

- ANIMAL AND PLANTS LIVING TOGETHER: Definitions = Population, community, habitat and ecosystem.
