THE FOOD CHAIN GAME
Chicos y chicas, este es el juego que hemos practicado en clase sobre la cadena alimenticia.
PRODUCERS
Plants are called producer. This is because they produce their own food. They do this by using light energy from the Sun, carbon dioxide from the aire and water from de soil to produce food. The process is called photosynthesis.
CONSUMERS
Animals are called consumers. This is because they cannot make their own food, so they need to eat plants and/or animals.
There are three groups of consumers:
DECOMPOSERS
Bacteria and fungi are decomposers. They eat dead plants and remains of animals. They release nutrients and mineral salts backs into the soil which then will be used by plants.
